Information "Echinococcus IgG"

The antigens (larvae of the Echinococcus multilocularis) after separation by electrophoresis are electroblotted to the surface of a nitrocellulose membrane (called transfer), which in 24 from 1 to 24
numbered strip is cut. Carrying out the test: Each serum sample to be tested is incubated separately with a strip. The anti-Echinococcus antibodies potentially present in the sample selectively bind to the antigens. The alkaline phosphatase anti-human IgG conjugate then binds to the bound anti-Echinococcus antibodies. Finally, the immune complexes react with the substrate. The IgG antigens present in the samples are shown as violet transversal bands.
